#1 Dali Book: I really want to start collecting art books because I especially fancy modern art movements. So naturally as I was in the Barnes and Noble at the Grove, I zoomed right inside, took the escalator, and made my way to the very left so I can bury myself in art books of all sorts. The two that I seem to really captivated me was the Lucian Freud book and the Salvador Dali book. I am obviously a connoisseur (I love using this word. I feel more sophisticated than I should) about the two, but I have been a longer fan to Dali (ever since I was 8 during my trip to Barcelona.) I need this book.

#2 Pantone mug: I adore mugs of all sorts and at the end of last year, I read an article about the history of Pantone after my visit to SFMOMA (which the gift shop was filled with Pantone mugs and postcards) and now I am longing for one. I love this color specifically and it just seems nice to sip tea out of this mug.

#3 Kind of Blue Vinyl: One of my pet peeves are people who buy vinyls and don't even own a record player. But yet again, I am also a hypocrite. I don't own a record player but one day, I know I will. And if I do have a record player, automatically the first record I will buy is my favorite jazz record of all time; Kind of Blue by Miles Davis. This album is always on repeat when I am doing ANYTHING basically. An absolute prerequisite.

#4 Twinings English Breakfast Tea: I ran out of tea and I need more. That is all I have to say.

#5 Constellation Globe: I have always had a curious fascination with maps and globes as long as I can remember and unique globes such as this constellation globe will undeniably catch my attention.

#6 Fox Pillow: I love little things like this. Foxes are one of my favorite animals and pillows such as this one can add a nice touch to your house if they are on your couch or the chair you read on.

#7 New Balance 410: I am not an absolute trainer freak but after following Scandinavian style blogs for quite a while, I find trainers with nice outfits to be, well, cute. Who figured? I used to absolutely loathe trainers with all my heart and instead wore my loafers and oxfords. I will still wear my menswear shoes, but I really want a pair at the moment. I own a pair of low top converse, but they aren't essentially the same (especially since they feel strangely uncomfortable on my feet and was forced to use them for PE when my beat-up plain white sneakers had a hole on them.)Specifically, I really want the New Balance U410 in Burgundy. They are practical and I can feel Scandinavian with Vincent Van Gogh (my orange/ginger Fjallraven Kanken) and trainers as I go to school.

#8 Mere Anarchy by Woody Allen: I am a Woody Allen fan and I need more books to read to pass my time. I thought Mere Anarchy might be a good book to read. That is really all I have to say about that.

And I am sorry that I haven't posted lately. School is getting pretty hectic.

March Wishlist
Yeup. Another monthly wishlist. This month is special because I turn fifteen on the first of March and these are just some of the things I have been lusting over this past month.

1) Cambridge Satchel: Yes, it has returned. And it will probably keep showing up until I do get one (hopefully while in my trip to the United Kingdom.) Last month, I stated I wanted a red one but I have now decided I might as well get a brown one. I used to not like the brown one because I thought that shade of brown looked odd when it wasn't worn out, but I feel it will be a better buy since I will be paying £94 and I am expecting it to last me quite a while. And if I do end up buying the bag in London, it will remind me of my stay and memories at London, which always gives a pleasant thought.

2) New Order Shirt: I am proud to say that New Order/Joy Division is one of my favorite bands. I have always wanted an Unknown Pleasures shirt (which is one of my favorite albums. Closer is way too depressing), but quickly changed my mind after a bunch of "soft grunge" hipsters on tumblr showed them off and was completely turned off by the idea after Brandy Melville sold their own version and saw girls my age wearing it for fashion, not music. I now own another Joy Division shirt, but I am still missing a New Order one. Movement contains a few of my favorite songs of all time, which are Temptation and Ceremony (or at least the special edition version) and I am honestly more of a New Order fan. I am not cool enough to say I prefer Ian Curtis' original vocals and depressing lyrics.

3) Topshop Sandals: They are the coolest things ever. They are hella expensive (well, they are Topshop and they are new) but I can imagine wearing them with EVERYTHING this spring/summer. I don't want any other shoe more than these ones at the moment.

4) Tardis Mug: It is adorable! I have been a huge whovian since seventh grade and things like this make me geek out. Honestly, the most brilliant mug ever.

5) Mango Coat: I like dressing like a boy and I feel this coat is absolutely perfect. I love the oversized blazer look to it and I feel I can wear it with so many items in my wardrobe. Been looking for an affordable boyfriend coat, and this seems to be the perfect one.

6) Vesuvio Nars Pure Matte Lipstick: I have a recent habit of wearing very minimal eye makeup with bright lips. I love matte lipstick, and it would be nice to own a red Nars one to wear everyday.

7) Bilbo Baggins' Pipe: I used to want a classic, Sherlock Holmes-esque pipe just to put in my mouth and act cool, but I can not resist Bilbo Baggins' pipe. The Hobbit is one of my favorite books of all time and as much of a jerk Bilbo can be, he remains one of my favorite Tolkien characters. Owning his pipe is the equivalent of owning the Elder Wand.

8) Scott Pilgrim in Color: Oh. My. Gosh. Scott Pilgrim just came out in hardcover, colored editions. I NEED NOW.
